Great place
Even with expected early November Lake Erie weather (cold, windy, occasional drizzle), the lake views were beautiful.<br/>Cozy Lakefront worked perfectly for our weekend stay to attend a funeral. It was an easy drive to all the places that we needed to be. We were even able to locate a bakery (Squire Shoppe Bakery) that had freshly made Nissua bread. A treat that is not available in our area. The house was very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. When the time comes to return to Ashtabula, this will be our first choice. (Hopefully, it will be in the summer)
We loved our stay at this darling lakefront home. It was so cute and cozy, and we loved the views of Lake Erie from the front windows and porch. Courtney was a great host and provided clear instructions at check-in and checkout. We highly recommend it, and it's on our list of places to stay again.
This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed at this location and would Definitely Stay Here Again! Right on the water! Can watch the sun come up or set, private beach area, the house has everything that you could need, picnic table, grill, restaurants nearby. Ashtabula is beautiful!!
Place was nice and good for what I needed
House was fixed adorable everything you need and the view of the lake was out of this world wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who just wants to sit on the porch and take in the view

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Eagle Stays will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Eagle Stays will match it.
